Version 1.0 — Effective August 26, 2026

This Account Ownership Policy explains how Base509 LLC (“Base509,” “PetAppro,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) administers control, transfer, deletion, and closure of accounts for petappro.com, the PetAppro mobile applications, the PetAppro Provider portal, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

A “Provider” is an independent pet-care business that uses PetAppro. An “End Client” is a pet owner or other customer of a Provider. An “Authorized User” is an owner, administrator, manager, staff member, contractor, or other person whom a Provider authorizes to use its account.

This Policy supplements the Shared Platform Terms, Provider Terms, and End Client Terms. The role-specific Terms control if this Policy conflicts with them. The Privacy Policy governs personal-information access, deletion, export, and retention. The Data Processing Addendum governs Base509’s Processing of Provider Personal Data.

1. Owner is a permission, not a legal-ownership determination

Owner is PetAppro’s highest Provider-side administrative permission. The Owner permission does not establish legal ownership of a Provider, its assets, its records, or its client relationships.

The person who establishes a Provider account represents that the person has authority to act for and bind the Provider. The Provider is responsible for maintaining at least one authorized Owner, assigning least privilege, monitoring Authorized Users, and promptly removing access that is no longer authorized.

As between Base509 and the Provider, the Provider retains its rights in its business data, subject to the rights of End Clients, workers, and other individuals and to the licenses and retention provisions in the applicable Terms. An Authorized User does not acquire ownership of Provider Data by creating, viewing, or managing it.

2. Personal accounts and Provider accounts

An individual’s Base509 account identifies that person and may provide access to one or more Provider accounts. The Provider account represents the Provider’s business operations. Removing an Authorized User ends that person’s access but does not delete Provider-controlled records created during authorized work.

Deleting an individual account does not automatically delete the Provider account or Provider-controlled business records. Provider and End Client deletion, closure, export, and retention follow Sections 6 and 7 of this Policy and the Privacy Policy.

PetAppro supports email one-time code (OTP), email and password, Google sign-in, and Apple sign-in. Provider Owners and Administrators must use time-based one-time-password multi-factor authentication. Base509 may require recent reauthentication, identity verification, and authority verification before an ownership transfer, export, account deletion, or Provider closure.

3. Provider roles and access changes

Provider-side roles are Staff, Manager, Administrator, and Owner. The Provider determines the access assigned to its Authorized Users within PetAppro’s role controls.

An Owner, and an Administrator where the assigned permissions allow it, may invite or remove Authorized Users. Removing a person ends that person’s access immediately. Provider work history and Provider-controlled records remain with the Provider. Removing an Authorized User may free a subscription seat but does not change accrued subscription or booking obligations.

4. Ownership transfer and successor acceptance

A current Owner may propose transfer of the Owner permission to an eligible successor who already holds an Owner or Administrator role or who completes the required account and authority-verification steps.

An ownership transfer is not effective until the proposed successor:

  • verifies the successor’s identity and PetAppro account;
  • receives the transfer notice and material account information;
  • affirmatively accepts the Owner permission and the agreements that apply to the Provider; and
  • completes any required security enrollment, including Owner TOTP.

Until acceptance is complete, the current Owner retains the Owner permission and remains responsible for the Provider account. After the transfer, the former Owner retains only the role, if any, assigned by the Provider.

Base509 may pause or reject a transfer that is incomplete, unauthorized, fraudulent, disputed, inconsistent with a binding order, or reasonably likely to compromise the Provider, an End Client, an animal, or the Service.

5. Ownership disputes, incapacity, and succession

Base509 does not adjudicate legal ownership of a Provider. If control is disputed, an Owner dies or becomes incapacitated, or the Provider undergoes a sale, merger, reorganization, or succession, Base509 may temporarily restrict ownership changes while preserving safety and operational records.

Base509 may require reliable evidence of identity and authority, including verified instructions from the Provider, formation or government records, transaction or succession documents, fiduciary or representative authority, or a binding court order. Base509 will transfer or restore the Owner permission only after the recipient completes the successor-acceptance requirements in Section 4.

A document identifying an authorized representative does not by itself transfer legal ownership of the Provider. Base509 may decline to act on conflicting, incomplete, or unreliable instructions and will comply with a valid binding order.

6. Authorized User deletion and Provider closure

An individual Authorized User may initiate deletion of that person’s Base509 account through the PetAppro application or designated web resource. Base509 may require recent reauthentication and identity verification. Deleting an individual account ends that person’s access but does not automatically delete Provider-controlled business records or eliminate accrued obligations.

A sole Provider Owner must transfer the Owner permission to an eligible successor who affirmatively accepts it under Section 4 or complete the Provider-closure process. Closing a Provider business immediately stops future SaaS renewal and new bookings and may be scheduled for the end of the paid term or completed immediately.

When Provider closure begins:

  • unstarted future bookings are canceled and affected parties are notified;
  • active services enter a restricted safety-completion state until safe handoff and documentation are complete;
  • the Provider remains responsible for refunds for prepaid, undelivered pet-care services;
  • End Clients receive 30 days of read-only access to available records from that Provider relationship; and
  • the Provider is offered an export of Provider Data in a reasonably usable format.

An unpaid amount does not prevent a deletion request, but deletion does not forgive a valid debt. Base509 may retain minimized, access-restricted records for security, fraud prevention, refunds, disputes, legal claims, and other lawful purposes stated in the Privacy Policy. Retained records do not preserve a functional login or permit a closed Provider to resume operating.

7. End Client deletion and Provider closure

An End Client may initiate deletion of the End Client’s Base509 account through the PetAppro application or designated web resource. Base509 may require recent reauthentication and identity verification.

Account deletion cancels unstarted future bookings associated with the deleted relationship, displays any applicable Provider cancellation amount before confirmation, and sends notice to the End Client and each affected Provider. An active service enters a restricted safety-completion state until safe handoff and documentation are complete. The End Client receives 30 days of read-only access to available relationship records before active-system deletion begins.

Deleting an End Client account does not extinguish a valid charge, refund right, debt, dispute, legal claim, or Provider recordkeeping duty. Base509 revokes functional access and may retain minimized, access-restricted records for the periods and purposes stated in the Privacy Policy.

If a Provider closes, unstarted future bookings are canceled with notice, active services follow the safety-completion process, and each affected End Client receives 30 days of read-only access to available records from that Provider relationship.

8. Suspension and termination

Suspension, nonpayment, or a Terms violation does not transfer ownership of a Provider account and does not eliminate accrued subscription, booking, payment, refund, safety, export, retention, or legal obligations. Base509 may restrict access or account changes as permitted by the applicable Terms while maintaining the safety-completion and closure protections described above.
