End Client Terms

Version 1.0Effective August 26, 2026Version history

Version 1.0 — Effective August 26, 2026

These End Client Terms are a binding agreement between Base509 LLC (“Base509,” “PetAppro,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and each pet owner or other customer who uses PetAppro to interact with an independent pet-care business (“End Client” or “you”).

The PetAppro Shared Platform Terms (“Platform Terms”) are incorporated into these End Client Terms. Together, they form the “End Client Agreement.” Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings in the Platform Terms.

If you also use PetAppro for a Provider business, the Provider Terms govern that business use. These End Client Terms govern your separate use as a Provider’s customer.

1. Your Provider relationship

PetAppro is software that an independent Provider uses to manage its business. The Provider, not Base509, supplies and is responsible for pet-care services. Your pet-care agreement is with the Provider identified during booking.

The Provider’s own terms, policies, prices, cancellation rules, refund rules, care terms, and privacy notice govern the pet-care relationship. Before confirming a booking, you must review and separately accept the Provider terms presented at booking review. Your acceptance of the End Client Agreement does not constitute acceptance of a Provider’s later or changed terms.

A Provider’s terms cannot modify the End Client Agreement, waive your rights against Base509, or impose an obligation on Base509.

2. No vetting or endorsement

Base509 does not vet, screen, background-check, license, certify, rate, rank, recommend, endorse, or approve Providers, their personnel, facilities, insurance, qualifications, or services. Stripe onboarding verifies matters for Stripe’s payment services and is not a pet-care qualification review.

You must independently evaluate whether a Provider is appropriate for you and your pet. Direct questions about personnel, licensing, insurance, bonding, training, facilities, safety, availability, service quality, and care practices to the Provider.

3. Account and information responsibilities

You must provide accurate information reasonably needed for the Provider to evaluate and perform a service, including current contact details, care instructions, behavioral information, medication instructions, emergency contacts, veterinarian information, access information, and material health or safety information concerning a pet.

PetAppro supports email one-time code (OTP), email and password, Google sign-in, and Apple sign-in. You must protect your password, email account, linked Google or Apple account, authentication devices, and active sessions. Notify support@base509.com promptly if you suspect unauthorized PetAppro account access.

You may not misuse Provider personnel information, live location features, access credentials, service records, photographs, report cards, messages, or another person’s personal information.

4. Booking requests and Provider acceptance

A booking request is not accepted until the Provider confirms it through the Service or otherwise communicates acceptance. The booking record identifies the Provider, service, dates, price, payment timing, applicable policies, and other material terms.

The Provider controls availability, personnel assignment, service performance, changes, cancellation, and refund decisions. Base509 may transmit communications or record status but does not promise that a Provider will accept or complete a request.

You must review booking details before confirmation and promptly notify the Provider of an error or changed circumstance. You may not make a false booking, conceal a material safety fact, misuse a promotion, or interfere with the Provider’s ability to care safely for an animal.

5. Booking payments

Payments for pet-care services are paid to the applicable Provider. Card payments are processed as direct charges through that Provider’s own Stripe Connect Standard account. The Provider is the merchant of record. Base509 does not hold, escrow, pool, receive, disburse, or beneficially own booking funds and does not charge a commission or application fee on a booking.

A Provider may record cash, Venmo, Zelle, or another offline payment. PetAppro records information about the payment but does not process or guarantee it.

You authorize the identified Provider and its payment processor to charge the amount and at the time displayed and accepted during the booking or invoice flow. A saved payment method is scoped to the applicable Provider’s connected payment account and does not authorize another Provider to charge it.

PetAppro does not create a wallet, stored-value balance, or prepaid credit for unidentified future services. A payment applies to an identified booking or invoice.

6. Provider cancellations, refunds, and payment disputes

The Provider’s accepted cancellation and refund terms govern pet-care charges. The Provider is responsible for deciding and funding a booking refund, subject to applicable law. Base509 may transmit a Provider-authorized refund instruction and record the result but does not decide the merits or pay the refund from Base509 funds.

Contact the Provider first about service quality, a booking charge, cancellation fee, contingent charge, tip, refund, or payment dispute. Contacting the Provider does not waive a non-waivable right to contact a bank, card issuer, regulator, or law-enforcement agency.

Base509’s Refund and Cancellation Policy governs only subscription fees paid by Providers to Base509 and does not govern End Client booking payments.

7. Pet care, access, and emergencies

You are responsible for providing truthful and complete information material to safe care, including a pet’s behavior, bite history, escape risk, illness, medication, feeding, mobility, and emergency needs. You must provide safe and lawful access to the service location and promptly update expired, changed, or revoked access instructions.

The Provider is responsible for care decisions, emergency procedures, veterinary authorization, transportation, keys, property access, and personnel. PetAppro is not an emergency service or veterinary service. In an emergency, contact the Provider and the appropriate veterinarian, animal-control agency, law-enforcement agency, or emergency responder.

8. Location information and service records

When a Provider uses an eligible live location feature, precise worker location may be visible during an active service to support progress and safety. Tracking begins only through the supported active-service flow, ends automatically at service completion or the applicable hard limit, and is not available to you as a post-service replay of a worker’s precise route.

You may use live location information only to monitor the applicable service. You may not retain, publish, share, analyze, or use it to stalk, harass, profile, intimidate, or evaluate a worker for an unrelated purpose.

Photographs, report cards, messages, and service records may contain Provider or worker content and personal information. You may use them for your own Provider relationship but may not publish or commercially exploit them without required permission.

9. Privacy and Provider-controlled data

The Privacy Policy explains Base509’s and the Provider’s privacy roles. For client, pet, household, booking, and care information the Provider submits or directs Base509 to process, the Provider is the Controller or business and Base509 is its Processor or service provider.

Send a request concerning Provider-controlled information to the applicable Provider. Base509 will assist the Provider as required by law and the DPA. Base509 separately controls information needed for account administration, authentication, security, direct support, and legal compliance.

10. Account deletion and Provider closure

You may initiate deletion of your Base509 account through the PetAppro application or designated web resource. Base509 may require recent reauthentication and identity verification.

Account deletion cancels unstarted future bookings associated with the deleted relationship, displays any applicable Provider cancellation amount before confirmation, and sends notice to you and each affected Provider. An active service enters a restricted safety-completion state until safe handoff and documentation are complete. You receive 30 days of read-only access to available relationship records before active-system deletion begins.

Deleting your account does not extinguish a valid charge, refund right, debt, dispute, legal claim, or Provider recordkeeping duty. Base509 revokes functional access and may retain minimized, access-restricted records for the periods and purposes stated in the Privacy Policy.

If a Provider closes, unstarted future bookings are canceled with notice, active services follow the safety-completion process, and you receive 30 days of read-only access to available records from that Provider relationship.

11. Communications

You consent to transactional and relationship communications concerning authentication, security, bookings, changes, payments, refunds, support, Provider notices, and legal terms. A Provider controls its own communications and must comply with applicable consent and marketing laws.

You may unsubscribe from Base509 marketing communications without stopping transactional, security, booking, payment, or legal communications.

12. End Client indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you will indemnify and hold harmless Base509 and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from a third-party claim arising from your unlawful misuse of the Service, infringement or misappropriation of another person’s rights, fraud, or knowing violation of the End Client Agreement.

This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim was caused by Base509’s fraud, willful misconduct, or other conduct that cannot lawfully be indemnified and does not impose an indemnity prohibited by consumer law.

13. Suspension and termination

The suspension and termination provisions in the Platform Terms apply. Base509 may restrict an End Client account to protect safety, security, privacy, payment integrity, a Provider, or another person. Suspension or termination does not eliminate accrued payment, refund, safety, or legal obligations.

14. Disputes and consumer rights

The mandatory individual arbitration, class-action waiver, jury-trial waiver, 30-day opt-out, small-claims carve-out, public-injunctive-relief protection, mass-filing procedures, California governing law, and consumer venue protections in Sections 13 and 14 of the Platform Terms apply to the End Client Agreement.

Nothing in the End Client Agreement waives a right or remedy that applicable consumer law makes non-waivable.

15. Complete agreement and contact

The End Client Agreement, Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, and Provider terms accepted for a particular booking constitute the agreements governing the respective subjects. The Platform Terms control common Service matters. These End Client Terms control End Client-specific matters. Provider terms control the pet-care relationship but do not alter Base509’s obligations.
