Version 1.0 — Effective August 26, 2026

This Cookie Notice explains how Base509 LLC (“Base509,” “PetAppro,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar browser storage on petappro.com and related PetAppro web services. It forms part of the PetAppro Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores through a browser. Cookies can remember a session, security state, preference, or limited information about how a visitor reached a website. Similar browser storage may support the same kinds of functions.

2. What PetAppro uses

Strictly necessary and functional technologies

PetAppro uses first-party cookies or similar storage necessary to:

  • keep a user signed in and maintain a requested session;
  • support authentication, multi-factor authentication, account recovery, and security;
  • remember essential settings and Service state;
  • route requests and protect the website and portal; and
  • provide a feature the user requests.

These technologies are not used for third-party advertising. Blocking them may prevent sign-in or other Service functions.

First-touch attribution cookie

PetAppro uses one first-party functional attribution cookie named b509_attribution. It is the only technology PetAppro uses for attribution, and its record is not duplicated in localStorage or other browser storage. It remembers how a visitor first reached PetAppro and may contain:

  • campaign-source, medium, campaign, term, and content parameters supplied in the arrival URL;
  • the referring page;
  • the initial landing-page path;
  • an advertising click identifier supplied in the arrival URL, such as a Google or Meta click identifier; and
  • a capture timestamp.

The cookie expires after 90 days. It is used to measure PetAppro’s first-touch business acquisition channels. A gclid, fbclid, or other click identifier contained in the arrival URL is processed first-party only and is never transmitted to Google, Meta, an advertiser, or another third party. The cookie is not used to follow a person across unrelated websites, build an advertising profile, or target third-party advertising.

3. What PetAppro does not use

PetAppro does not operate analytics SDKs, analytics tags, third-party advertising cookies, advertising pixels, or cross-site behavioral tracking anywhere in the Service. Base509 does not sell cookie information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or provide it to data brokers, advertising networks, Google, Meta, or another third party for attribution or advertising.

A third-party service that you intentionally use, such as Google or Apple sign-in, Stripe payment processing, or an embedded mapping function, may set or read its own technology while providing that function. The third party’s privacy notice governs its independent processing.

4. Your choices

You can delete or block cookies through browser settings. Deleting the attribution cookie resets its remembered first-touch information. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent authentication, security, preferences, or requested web features from working.

PetAppro does not respond differently to browser “Do Not Track” signals because no uniform legal or technical standard governs them. We recognize legally required opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control, for processing subject to those signals. Because PetAppro does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, applying the signal does not change those practices.

5. Changes to this Notice

We will update this Notice and its effective date if our use of cookies or similar technologies changes. We will provide additional notice or obtain consent before introducing a technology when applicable law requires it.
